Professor, Physics

Research Interests: Statistical mechanics, particularly theoretical studies of phase transitions and critical phenomena.

Current research projects: Solid-liquid phase transitions in systems of small molecules; nucleation and growth phenomena; exact solutions of the two-dimensional Ising model in finite geometries; spin models of giant magnetoresistance in magnetic multilayers.
