Professor, Physics; Associate Director, Center for Integrated Plasma Studies

Research Interests: Plasma and beam physics; computational modeling using modern computer science techniques, such as object methods.

Current Research Projects: Chaotic dynamics of a slowly varying quantum system; methods for finding plasma confinement systems with non chaotic trajectories; development of systematic techniques for eliminating chaotic motion in accelerator lattices; object oriented approach to accelerator modeling.
