Professor, Computer Science; Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic and Campus Technology

Research Interests: Numerical computation; primarily solution of optimization; nonlinear equations and data fitting problems.

Current Research Projects: Solution of global and local optimization problems arising in molecular chemistry applications; parallel numerical computation including languages and software tools.
