VISITING FELLOWSHIP REPORT
It was a big pleasure and honor for me to be a CIRES Visiting Fellow for the past two years.
I greatly enjoyed the stimulating environment and friendly atmosphere both
at CIRES and at NOAA/Aeronomy Laboratory
[ About this Lab ]
.
In gained scientific progress in Susan Solomon's group in the field of atmospheric
remote sensing using Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy (DOAS).
Two papers were written and submitted to referee journals, which are currently under review process. To sum my progress in CIRES/NOAA enclosed herewith the relevant paper list:
Sierk, B., Solomon, S., Daniel, J. S., Portmann, R. K. Gutman, S.I., Langford, A. 0., Eubank, C. S., and K. H. Holub, Field test of spectral line strength parameters for tropospheric water vapor, Journal of Geophysical Research, (submitted)
Sierk, B., Solomon, S., Daniel, J. S., Portmann, R. W. Gutman, S.I., Langford, A. 0., Eubank, C. S., Dutton, E.G. and K. H. Belch, DOAS field measurements of water vapor absorption in the visible and near-infrared, Journal of Geophysical Research (submitted).
