Applying for a CIRES Postdoctoral Visiting Fellowship, 2013-2014
- Fellowship duration: 1-2 years. Fellowships are awarded for one year; a second year may be available from other funding sources.
- The applicant should have completed a Ph.D. no more than four years ago.
- Applicants must discuss proposed research with at least one CIRES Fellow prior to applying online.
- The annual salary is $57,000 plus an additional one thousand dollars for each year past receipt of PhD (with a cap of ten years). A modest relocation/travel stipend within the U.S. will be provided up to $1500 against receipts. We also include a $4,000 research budget.
- Three letters of recommendation from persons familiar with the applicant's qualifications should be uploaded with application (the link will be sent in application submission confirmation email for more instructions). (PDF files only). It is no later than Jan 6, 2014 for the recommendation letters to attach to the application.
- Postdoctoral level applicants must also submit graduate transcripts. They must be in Portable Document Format (PDF), and in black and white only.
