Applying for a CIRES Sabbatical (Senior Scientist) Fellowship, 2013-2014
- Fellowship duration: 3-12 months
- Applicants must discuss proposed research with at least one CIRES Fellow prior to applying online.
- Option 1: The annual salary is $57,000 plus an additional one thousand dollars for each year past receipt of Ph.D. (with a cap of ten years).
This amount is prorated if visit is less than 12 months.
Option 2: CIRES offers a housing allowance of approximately $1,500 per month. Note that expenses are reimbursed and a lease agreement or proof of payment is required to complete the reimbursement process. This amount is prorated if visit is less than 12 months. - A modest relocation/travel stipend within the U.S. is provided up to $1500 against receipts.
- CIRES also offers a research budget up to $4,000.
