Research Interests

Donna Scott is the programs and projects lead at NSIDC. She is a member of the NSIDC leadership team, primarily representing programs and projects external to the NSIDC Distributed Active Archive Center (DAAC). She is responsible for developing and implementing process strategies to create consistent experiences for teams, align expectations, and increase efficiency on projects. She has over 20 years of experience at NSIDC supporting the crysopheric community in the use of satellite data. She led software development projects, and has managed an NSIDC DAAC mission team for the Scanning Multichannel Microwave Radiometer (SMMR), Special Sensor Microwave/Imager (SSM/I), and Special Sensor Microwave Imager/Sounder (SSMIS) data record.
