Shannon Leslie

Shannon Leslie is the Data Stewardship Lead for the NASA Snow and Ice Distributed Active Archive Center (DAAC) at NSIDC. As a member of the DAAC management team, she is responsible for strategic coordination and tactical implementation of the DAAC’s data stewardship practices. With over ten years of experience at NSIDC, she has led a diverse array of projects and teams including leading data management activities for NASA missions as well as managing strategy and projects for large and operationally critical metadata software products and workflows. She also manages a team and portfolio of projects that develop, evolve, and promote guidelines and processes related to data product production, publication, and preservation.
