Courses Offered CIRES faculty teach normal course loads in their academic departments in a wide range of subjects covering atmospheric and climate dynamics, cryospheric and polar processes, environmental chemistry and biology, and solid earth sciences.
Graduate Fellowships Offered CIRES offers two different graduate education fellowships to help recruit top students to CU-Boulder's academic programs.
Graduate Certificates Available
Through CIRES' Center for Science and Technology Policy Research, a graduate student at CU-Boulder can also earn a graduate certificate in science and technology policy. These certificate programs at CU-Boulder are also available to graduate students.

CIRES Teaching/Faculty Since 1967, CIRES Faculty have supervised the research of hundreds of students who have earned the Ph.D. degree and are now in environmental science and research positions in academia and industry, in the United States and around the world.
