Air-Sea Exchange Processess
ESRL/PSD has maintained an ongoing research program for nearly two decades exchange processes between the ocean and atmosphere that are important for improving global climate models, quantifying the exchange of CO2 between the oceans and atmosphere, and improving the parameterizations of heat and momentum transfers affecting the growth and intensity of hurricanes.
