Boundary Layer Effects on Tall Tower CO2 Measurements

This opportunity would be shared between PSD and GMD and focused on the interpretation of the Boulder Atmospheric Observatory (BAO) Tall Tower CO2 data and supporting meteorological measurements. The objective would be to support interdisciplinary research that links boundary layer meteorology in the complex terrain of the Colorado Front Range with the sources and sinks of CO2, both biogenic and anthropogenic as measured at the BAO tower. It would also be possible to expand research focus to include a compare/contrast element using the University’s Niwot Ridge ecological observatory.
