Directions to CIRES Outreach and Education Program

CIRES Outreach is located at 1540 30th Street, on the east campus of the University of Colorado at Boulder.

To get to CIRES Outreach and the University of Colorado east campus from U.S. 36 West (CO Hwy 119/28th St.), go: Right (east) onto Baseline Rd, and proceed past the 7-11 and McDonalds (on your right) to the first light after you get onto Baseline. Left (north) onto 30th Street and then go through two traffic lights (Aurora and Colorado) Right (east) into the parking lot just north of the orange brick, two-story building at 1540 30th Street, across the street from Scott Carpenter Park.

CIRES Outreach is on the first floor of Research Laboratory 2 (RL-2), Building 72 on the map below. In front of RL-2, there is a sign facing 30th Street that reads "CU: Research Laboratory No. 2.” There are parking meters along the entrance drive and at the back of RL-2. Enter the back (NE) corner of RL-2 and the CIRES Outreach and Education Program offices are located just down the hall to your left at the SE corner of the building. If you come in the front door, go down the stairs and to the rear (SE) corner.
