  • Strengthen ties between research and educational practice, evaluation and assessment

Goals for participants:
Strand groups will develop strategies and implementation plans to:

  • Increase the number and diversity of users and contributors to DLESE
  • Develop ideas and plans for facilitating and encouraging the development of earth science data/tools for education use
  • Identify needed content for DLESE and develop plans to develop that content
  • Build connections between research and educational practice, including the use of evaluation and assessment and science/education partnerships

Each strand will contribute to the development of an overall strategic plan for Broadening DLESE.
