Using "Science: Frameworks At a Glance Based on Colorado Content Model Standards" (PDF)

Each sub-standard prints on a single, 11 x 17" page, except for Standard 1 which prints on two pages. You will need a printer that can print this size paper. Follow your printer instructions to set up the page size. We recommend printing a master copy or two, then making photocopies from this master.

To our knowledge, the information here is the same as in the official version of the frameworks from the CDE. If you find any discrepancies, please notify us.

To facilitate communication about individual frameworks statements, we have used lower-case letters (a, b, c) to identify the individual frameworks statements under each benchmark (e.g. 4.1.1). The official CDE version uses bullets in order to emphasize that there is no hierarchy within the listed frameworks statements under each benchmark; i.e. their order does not communicate any priority. We reiterate this point but have found it useful in workshops to be able to refer unambiguously to a given statement (as "a" or "c"), so we have labeled it that way here.
