Northeast Front Range Math/Science Partnership

2005 Institutes:

Mathematics

Teachers in all five partner districts are eligible for this institute.

Geometry

This standards-based course will involve such geometric concepts as scaling, symmetry, properties and connections to algebra and measurement. Other experiences will include problem solving, cooperative learning, group discussion, and mathematical writing.

Data Analysis and Probability

This standards-based course will include finding, using and interpreting measures of central tendencies; collecting data and displaying graphical representations; and understanding and applying concepts of probability.
