Congratulations to Smoky Hill High School
for winning the 2009 Mountain Mariner Challenge!
They had a wonderful time at the national competition in Washington, DC
and hope to do as well at regional competition again in 2010
- are a teacher in Colorado or a neighboring state and would
like to participate. We will provide resources and support for you to expand
your ocean sciences curriculum and train your team.
- are a scientist who would like to participate as a
volunteer. We need people with expertise in ocean sciences (physical,
chemical, biological) and/or geology.
- are a parent or other interested person who'd like to volunteer.
Please note that teams from any states are welcome to compete.
We have had interested teams from Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Kansas, Nebraska, Montana, and South Dakota.
