Mark McCaffrey
Mark S. McCaffrey is an Associate Scientist II at CIRES. He is a science commuication and education specialist focusing on climate, water and solar science.
He co-founded the Boulder Area Sustainability Information Network, the Boulder Creek Watershed Initiative, was the lead author on the NOAA Paleo Perspective on Abrupt Climate Change, and has testified in front of Congress about the International Polar Year's education, outreach and communication efforts. He has been a co-leader of the Climate Literacy framework of essential principals and fundamental concepts relating to the climate system, and is interested in the challenges and research opportunities relating to products and services.
Mark completed his Masters in Educational Leadership at the University of Norther Colorado in Greeley.
