Heather Thiry

Heather Thiry has a Ph.D in education and works as a researcher with Ethnography & Evaluation Research at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She has worked with science faculty reformers as an evaluator for SENCER, a national project to incorporate civic issues into undergraduate science courses, and for a campus project to improve science teacher preparation. She has studied undergraduate research apprenticeships in science and outreach programs in chemisty and biology. She has expertise in participant observation, qualitative and quantitative methods. With Anne-Barrie Hunter, she is an evaluator and researcher for the ReSciPE project.
