CIRES Outreach projects focus on professional development for teachers and scientists, partnerships with school districts, opportunities for students at all levels and avenues for teachers and students to be involved in current research.

	Polar Visions -- an educational film and online video about the causes and effects of climate change in the polar regions, divided into seven segments for easy integration in the classroom.
	COSEE West – Colorado Collaborative A teacher professional development program that delivers a new ocean and climate science topic each year

	National Ocean Sciences Bowl Student competition increasing knowledge of the oceans for high school students, teachers, and parents

ICEE - The Inspiring Climate Education Excellence (ICEE): Teacher Professional Development for Effective Instruction in Climate Science Literacy project will develop a model of climate science teacher professional development that addresses important climate science content along with the pedagogical skills necessary for effective instruction.
