This workshop is sponsored by a grant from NSF Geoscience Education. We will be taking this workshop on tour to other scientific groups—if you are interested in hosting a workshop, talk to us! We are also developing RSPE, a web site of resources for scientists working as partners with education. Please send your suggestions for useful materials that have inspired, informed, or assisted your work. Finally, in tandem with the workshops, we are conducting a pilot researchwith- evaluation study to better understand the motivations, needs, and interests of scientists who work with education, and thus to learn more about how to make science education partnerships effective and lasting. We thus appreciate your thoughtful response to the survey, and to the follow-up interview if you are contacted. Feel free to contact our evaluator, Ginger Melton, with any questions (GingerDOTMeltonATcoloradoDOTedu).
