Suffield School Grounds Soil Study

Learning Objectives:

• TSWBAT analyze soil types.
• TSWBAT create/draw conclusions about land usage based on soil analysis.

Where: Sample sites will be located around school grounds and property.

Who: The 9^th grade Earth Science classes, ~125 students will work on the project.

What: We will delineate 4 sample sites around the school. We will follow the GLOBE procedures.

When: We will visit test sites once in the spring. Each class will visit each test site and take sample for analysis.
