Opps I Soiled Myself!

Learning Objectives: To enable students to formulate an inquiry based experiment that test soils. Students will devise a plan to determine which types of plants will grow in the soil.

Where: Lewistown-Porter Middle School, Youngstown, NY

Who: 6^th grade science

What: Use of soil analysis to determine particle size, pH and nitrogen content.

When: During the fall & spring.
