K-12 Projects: Classroom Resources

Project Extremes EXTREMES: EXploration, Teaching and Research for Excellence in Middle and Elementary Science
Placing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) graduate students into Boulder's more socioeconomically diverse schools, this program supports both the enrichment of science learning opportunities for GK-12 students and the professional development of young scientists.
Project Extremes Logo Project EXTREMES Antarctica: This blog is written from Antartica for the K-12 classroom by Project EXTREMES graduate students and a Boulder high-school science teacher. They document their experiments and personal experiences as they assist an international team of scientists dedicated to understanding the ecology of one of the most extreme environments on earth, the McMurdo Dry Valleys.
