Several methods of calculating the rate of supercritical fluid extraction are compared. On basis of contrary utilizing adsorption theory advanced by Boy D, a general mechanism of supercritical fluid extraction process is described. The rate of extraction of highly finished oil from seeds of Chinese prickly, coriander, celery, purple perilla, are calculated exploringly. They are 1.47x10-12, 4.34x10-12, 1.89x10-12, 2.70x10-12 m2 /sec, respectively. The calculated result is approached to other authors such Goto, Owen etc.
