Since April of 1999, NASA's Earth Observatory has featured one image each day. Selected from the hundreds taken daily by satellites, the featured image includes details written by NASA scientists putting the visual in context.

At ESOC, we feature images of interest on a weekly basis, selecting those that relate most directly to our research.
