Recent developments in organic aerosol modeling

Two model applications are presented that address organic aerosol formation in different scenarios: (i) During the GoMACCS (TexAQS) study successful closure has been obtained between observed and modeled organic aerosol mass. (ii) A new module is presented that investigates the importance of organic aerosol formation in the aqueous phase of haze particles as an additional SOA source under enhanced relative humidity.
