Papers
Advances in atmospheric measurement and numerical modeling techniques
have fostered both improved understanding and forecasting of atmospheric
behavior in the troposphere. This symposium will provide a critical evaluation
of the needs of the user community and the benefits to be provided from
improved tropospheric observation. It will also assess the adequacy of
current and projected remote sensing and in-situ profiling techniques,
such as radar, lidar, sodar, radiometers, and balloon-borne or aircraft
instrumentation.
Papers will be presented in the following areas:
- Techniques
- Free Atmosphere Processes
- Mesoscale modeling
- Weather analysis and forecasting
- Trace Gases and aerosols
- Clouds and Precipitation
- Water Vapor
- Boundary Layer Processes
