Research Interests

Applications of remote sensing to polar and mountain meteorology; mesoscale flows related to coastal meteorology and air quality.

Current Research Projects

Studies of air quality in the Colorado Front Range, the U.S. Southeast, and the Los Angeles bight regions; study of synoptic scale processes over the interior of east Antarctica as observed with wind profilers and acoustic sounders; study of coastally trapped surge events on the U.S. west coast using a network of wind profilers.
