Baylor Fox-Kemper (CV)
Since August, 2007, I have been an assistant professor in the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES, more info) at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I also teach in the Department of Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences (ATOC).
Before coming to Boulder, I worked with Raffaele Ferrari as a research scientist at MIT. Before that, I worked with Geoff Vallis at Princeton and GFDL. Part of my work with Geoff and Raf was supported by a NOAA Fellowship (managed by UCAR). Before that, I got my Ph.D. from the MIT/WHOI Joint Program in Oceanography working with Paola Rizzoli (at MIT) and Joe Pedlosky (at WHOI). Before specializing in oceanography, I trained in physics at Reed with Nick Wheeler and at Brandeis with X.-J. Wang.
