PhD Graduate Student, Colorado State University
Duties: Complete a PhD by Aug 2004.
Special Experiences: Promoted to Major, Oct 2001

Jun 1998 - Jul 2001:
Assessment Officer, Langley AFB, Hampton, VA
Duties: Made assessments of forecast capabilities for AF Weather Flights throughout the CONUS, South America, and Central Asia. Assessment included analyzing data for trends, researching forecast techniques to reverse negative trends, and crossfeeding techniques used to create positive trends. Traveled to weather flights to provide "hands-on" assistance.
Special experiences: Served as Joint METOC Officer, Eskan Village, Saudi Arabia from Mar-Jul 1999 providing forecast services for Central Asia to General Staff stationed in Saudi Arabia.

Aug 1996 - May 1998:
Master's Graduate Student, Texas A&M University
Duties: Complete a MS degree by Aug 1998
Special Experiences: Completed degree on time!

Apr 1993 - Jul 1996
Command Weather Briefer / Flight Commander, Hickam AFB, HI
Duties: Provide the PACOM General Staff weather briefings on significant weather throughout the Pacific and Indian Ocean Basins and surrounding countries of interest. Included the tracking of all Tropical Cyclones in either Ocean.
Special Experiences: Served as Meteorological Investigator on an Aircraft Accident Investigation in Korea during April 1994. Also, Promoted to Captain Sept 1994.

Jan 1991- Mar 1993
Wing Weather Officer, Eielson AFB, AK
Duties: Produce TAF's and Area Weather Forecasts for Eielson AFB and surrounding military airspace throughout central Alaska. Provided local flight weather briefings and cross country flight weather briefings (over 10,000 in my time there).
Special Experiences: Promoted to 1st Lt, May 1992.

Duties: Wait for the AF to work my first Assignment
