Notes to Prospective Postdocs and Visiting Scientists
Prospective postdoctoral researchers are encouraged to contact me directly regarding possible research opportunities, and are strongly encouraged to apply for NSF Postdoctoral Fellowships if they qualify.
Prospective Postdocs and/or visiting scientists (sabbatical leaves, etc.) are encouraged to apply for CIRES Visiting Fellowships. This program provides one-year fellowships to scientists with research interests in common with CIRES researchers. CIRES (the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences) is a joint NOAA/University institute. Scientific divisions within CIRES include Solid Earth Sciences, Atmospheric and Climate Dynamics, Cryospheric and Polar Processes, and Environmental Chemistry and Ecosystem Sciences).
