Buniyar Temple

Above - view from the SE corner of the courtyard wall. The temple lies on the east side of the road leading west from Baramulla. It is surrounded by a military camp, whose personnel have attempted to repair parts of the roof and to clear tumbled stones. The surrounding cloistered architraves are largely undamaged. The stone roof is missing and has been replaced with a wooden one. A number of tumbled stones block the interior niches imediately to the north of the west facing entrance. Kak notes that thistemple is constructed from granite.
