Research Interests

I am interested in the climate of the Arctic and how it may be changing, and particularly how the atmosphere and sea ice interact. My dissertation is investigating the impacts of synoptic-scale cyclones on Arctic sea ice. My interests aside from Arctic climate include climate change, earth system interactions (particularly with the cryosphere), remote sensing, and climate modeling. I also have interests in science communication and policy.
