Science Pathways Program talk: Teaching geographical concepts, Metropolitan State University

Grace Bennett-Pierre hosted students at the NOAA building from the Environmental Science and Meteorology Clubs at Metropolitan State University. The students took a tour at NOAA and witnessed a “Science on a Sphere” installation. Grace talked about her educational research project with CU Boulder students to determine effective methods of teaching geographical concepts through still versus animated visualizations. Students asked several questions about Grace’s unique career pathway and offered their own ideas about how their spatial skills impact their learning.
