Student Assistant - WWA
The position: Western Water Assessment is hiring a student assistant to support the program with a range of administrative and project tasks. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting an inventory and building an archive of program presentations and contact lists
- Assisting with logistics for large meeting planning
- Using reference management software to build and format references for reports that will be used by scientists and decision makers
- Other support as needed
The successful candidate should be organized and highly motivated, have strong written and verbal communications skills, and able to work independently while following supervisor guidance. Experience with reference management software (like Zotero) is a plus.
We are looking for a candidate who can work 5-20 hours per week from May 2019 through at least December 2019 (up to 20 hours/week during summer and up to 12 hours/week during fall semester).
About Western Water Assessment: Western Water Assessment is an applied research program that addresses societal vulnerabilities to climate variability and climate change, particularly those related to water resources. While we are based at CIRES in the University of Colorado Boulder, we work across Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming.
