1.) Within your ADMIN BAR at the top of the page you will see you have the word CONTENT
2.) Filling out fields and selecting SAVE
Now that you have selected the type of content you wish to add from the content drop-down, you will see the edit screen. Think of the EDIT SCREEN just as you would any other form on the internet. For example, if you are adding information on facebook you commonly enter a 'status update', 'tagged user' or even upload a photo all in one 'form'. This EDIT SCREEN is no different. Each drupal CONTENT TYPE has been created specifically for news, events, profiles, etc. To add content simply fill out as much information as possible into the available fields and select save at the bottom left-hand section of the EDIT SCREEN.
That's it! You've created a piece of content that will now display throughout the website depending on what pre-defined locations it should display. In other words, if it is a 'NEWS' item, it will display in the NEWS page. To learn more about how to edit the 'BODY' text, add images and other styles please view the 'WYSIWIG' section of HELP!
Editing Content on Drupal can be done multiple ways - here are the two most common and luckily, the easiest!
THE PENCIL ICON
When viewing a single piece of content you will see the following options just above where the content begins on the page ( VIEW & EDIT ). Simply select edit and the edit screen will display for that piece of content.
Great! So now you can ADD and EDIT content but what if you wanted to VIEW or FILTER all the content on the website from one simple interface? No problem, this time when you go to the CONTENT button on the top left of your window, simply click on Content and you will see the following screen:
