Evaluation Project Examples

We are currently conducting evaluation work for education and outreach projects funded by NOAA, NASA, the National Science Foundation and private funders. Participants in these projects include middle and high school students, K12 teachers, college faculty, undergraduate students, international exchange students, scientists, and the general public.


Our evaluation findings have informed many publications. See below some example publications:

Formative External Evaluation--Lens on Climate Change


Examples of front-end evaluation products from recent projects include two reports that summarized user needs survey data. 

The final evaluation report provides summative evaluation results to project managers and the funding agency.  One example is the final evaluation report for the NSF-funded Geophysical Research at Storm Peak (GRASP). Data were collected using participant surveys and interviews.
