Biography

Elizabeth is a graduate student in Environmental Studies working with the CIRES Education & Outreach team. She has a BA in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from CU Boulder, where she received honors for her thesis about entomology education. She has worked for Earth Lab and the NC CASC on science communication and planning efforts, and her graduate work examines how public lands managers think about ecosystem resilience and interact with stakeholders. For future projects, she is particularly interested in the social aspects of ecological transformations, including social responses to change and adaptive management.
