I propose to apply my experience investigating atmosphere-ocean-ice interactions using idealized model experiments to assess (i) the role of cloud feedbacks for the Arctic response to the AMOC decline, and (ii) the role of the mean-state AMOC for model uncertainty in Arctic climate projections.Sponsors
