Research Interests
Maxwell Elling is a PhD candidate in the Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences Department at CU Boulder, working with Dr. Kris Karnauskas. He is currently researching the impacts of climate on malaria in southeastern Africa and building a global climate-health risk index. Previously, he was at NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), where he investigated how climate models simulate extreme weather and other impact-relevant events.
