Research Interests
I am Senior Associate Scientist in CIRES, AVID GSL. I always enjoy my work and reseach. I love to work at DSRC for its beautiful environment. My hobby is hiking, reading and cleanning house to make things organized. I have a beautiful and peace family that me, my husband and kids always support and encourage each other.
Current Research
My current research focus on
1. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
- Improve use of observational data to improve initial conditions and subsequent forecasts for the RRFS. Work shall advance the storm-scale data assimilation technique with emphasis on optimal use of radar data and accurate analysis of wind, temperature, and moisture.
2. Fire2-b: Assimilation of particulate matter (PM) observation and aerosol optical depth (AOD) data in the Rapid Refresh Forecast System
- Preprocess observations and reformatting.
- Perform retrospective runs to evalute inline CMAQ.
3. Evaluation of 3d-RTMA system with Vortex-SE 2022-2023 PERiLS Field Data
- Evaluate the RRFS-RTMA using the independent Vortex-SE radar and lidar wind profiles.
