Research Interests
I am a meteorologist and communicator with positions at CIRES, NOAA's Global Systems Laboratory, and NOAA's National Severe Storms Laboratory. With a deep background in science writing, strategic communication, and public outreach, I've led high-impact programs that foster scientific understanding.
Mentoring and student intern support is also a passion. I led summer professional development programs for interns and forged relationships with local universities to create for-credit opportunities.
Current Research
My "pet" project is chasestormdog.com, a website that explains weather science to kids through pets.
