Mark Seefeldt, 2025-2026 Fulbright Distinguished Arctic Scholar to Norway

As a Fulbright Distinguished Arctic Scholar to Norway, Mark Seefeldt will visit the Norwegian Research Center (NORCE) and the University of Bergen in Bergen from February to May 2026. He will work with Prinscilla Mooney at NORCE and Harald Sodemann at the University of Bergen. The project will investigate temperature extremes in the Arctic and northern high latitudes and the atmospheric characteristics associated with the extremes. The project will also include a teaching component focusing on seminars, workshops, and advising with graduate students and early career researchers.
