Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder
The Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) was established in 1967 to facilitate collaboration between the University of Colorado Boulder and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Every year, we report accomplishments to NOAA. These annual reports focus on the CIRES collaboration with NOAA; more comprehensive information about the CU Boulder side of our research enterprise can be found in Spheres.
Congrats to Dave Allured and Irina Djajalova in PSL, who were awarded a CIRES Silver Medal and part of a team awarded a Department of Commerce/NOAA Silver Medal for development and implementation of Air Quality Model v6 to significantly advance operational air quality predictions for the Nation.
