Resilient Colorado: Natural Hazards Professional Development Course

Resilient Colorado: Natural Hazards Professional Development Course

We invite rural Colorado secondary science teachers to join us for a virtual workshop on teaching about wildfire, floods and drought using the HEART Force curriculum. The workshop will be offered virtually, though we encourage "pods” of teachers to participate if possible (ie. several teachers in one district can get together to do course activities together in-person, though virtual breakout groups will also be available for individual teachers to work together).

Registration is free, and course participants are eligible for either a 0.5 graduate credit through CU Boulder or an $80 stipend for attending the workshop. All participants will receive a certificate for 8 hours of professional development.

Visit the HEART Force program page to browse curriculum and learn more about the program.
