Jacob Petro is a second-year undergraduate at CU Boulder pursuing Chemical & Biological Engineering, with a certificate in STEM Education. He is passionate about science education and improving resources to disadvantaged students, as well as inclusivity in the STEM fields. He is very interested in participating in research as an undergraduate at CU. Jacob's future goals include graduate chemistry study and teaching chemistry, and his potential research interests include materials and neurochemistry and renewable energy.  He is very excited to work with such a talented and passionate team, and cannot wait to learn more about science education and the programs here at CEEE. In his free time he is often hiking, spending time with family, skiing, and playing soccer.
