Research Interests

I love learning about our planet and how we observe it. These interests have led me to pursue my PhD in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at CU and CIRES. I currently study climate change through the lens of Global Climate Models, and my research takes place at the interface between these models and observations. I am also interested in the radiative impacts of clouds and aerosols, as well as understanding the limitations of satellite observations and climate models.

I aim to do science that produces actionable results outside of academia in addition to useful conclusions for the scientific community. Critically, this means bridging gaps between the users of climate information and the scientists who create that information.

Science is successful when diverse voices are present and valued. As a scientist and a human being, I am committed to dismantling the systems of oppression that permeate academia.
