- Walk around the University Memorial Center, UMC building on its west side, passing by the fountain and the Chemistry building
- Turn right and head toward the underpass visible in front of you, connecting the CIRES building with the Chemistry building
- Enter the building on the left under the underpass, turn left and go through the double doors off the atrium. Climb 2 flights of stairs to second floor
- Turn right, pass the overlook to the Atrium on your left, and make the first right
- CIRES IT, room 216, is located about halfway down that hallway on your left

- Walk north between the two buildings of the Visual Arts Complex
- Turn West (left) on Central Campus Mall walkway until you see the CIRES building straight ahead of you
- Enter the building on the right: This entrance is located under an overpass that connects the CIRES building with the Chemistry building
- After entering, turn left and go through the double doors off the atrium. Climb 2 flights of stairs to second floor
- Turn right, pass the overlook to the Atrium on your left, and make the first right
- CIRES IT, room 216, is located about halfway down that hallway on your left
- Walk south between Norlin Library and the quadrangle
- Take a slight right to go down the stairs or ramp into the Ekeley building
- Enter double doors, turn right, and the elevator is a little way down the hall on your left
- Go to the 2nd floor
- Turn left out of the elevator and follow the hallway all the way down, turn left again and continue past the Earth Science and Observation Center
- Turn left again at the end of that hallway and walk all the way down toward the stairwell
- Turn left, and continue walking past the overlook to the Atrium on your left side and turn right down the first hallway
- CIRES IT, room 216, is located about halfway down that hallway on your left
