Current Research

I work with the GOES-R MAG team in Space Physics at CIRES-NOAA/NCEI as an associate scientist. My work includes instrument science, validation  and calibration of the GOES-R series magnetometer data. I look for ways to improve current data products and use magnetometer data for space weather research. My research interests also include wave-particle interactions in Earth and planetary magnetospheres. I am also passionate about outreach to minority groups, women in STEM and scientific communication to the larger public.
