Research Interests

Jane Wolken is a Research Scientist in CIRES and the University Deputy Director at the North Central Climate Adaptation Science Center. In this role, she works at the nexus of climate adaptation science research, program coordination and science communication. She is a forest ecologist that is passionate about collaborative solutions-focused research, knowledge sharing, and improving diversity and inclusivity in academia. Jane’s research experience includes climate adaptation, forest ecology, silviculture and forest health. She received her Ph.D. in Forest Biology and Management from the University of Alberta.
